Z. A. Bhutto’s 81st Birthday Observed in California 

The 81st birthday of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was observed in Concord, California at the residence of Sabira Farooq, General Secretary, PPP Lady's Wing. A large number of PPP party office bearers and members attended the event.
In her address on the occasion, Mrs. Najma Bhutto, a party stalwart,  said that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto continues to inspire the masses  in Pakistan with his supreme sacrifices for the cause of democracy. He was not a lone crusader. His family members too laid down their lives for a democratic setup in the country.
She said the 1973 Constitution framed by the late Z. A. Bhutto and unanimously adopted by the provinces continues to unite the federating units and forges unity.
Mrs. Sabira Farooque who  addressed the gathering next claimed that Shaheed Z. A. Bhutto had given nuclear power status to Pakistan.  It was largely due to the attainment of this enviable status that Pakistan’s ambitious neighbors were checked from launching any misguided adventurism.
She also read a message of the President of Pakistan Mohtram Asif Ali Zardari.

Ahmed also addressed the gathering and shed light on the life and achievements of the late Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. They said that the present leadership must follow the guidelines
formulated by Quaid-e-Awam and complete his  mission of providing ‘Roti, Kapra Aur Makan’ to the common man.
Dr. Malik Awan who had worked with the late Z.A.Bhutto said he salutes the late  Shaheed Bhutto as he was a world leader who had earned respect and good name for Pakistan.
