Pakistan Chamber of Commerce-USA Elects 2009 Executive Board

Houston, TX:  The Pakistan Chamber of Commerce-USA during its annual general body meeting held on December 28, 2008 elected its board for 2009. The election process was conducted by the chairman election committee Rashid Khokhar. Nomination forms were collected by the election commission by December 11 which was formally announced by the election committee on December 14. During the general body the names of the elected officials were formally approved by the members.
 Speaking on the occasion outgoing president Muhammad Saeed Shaikh congratulated the incoming board members on their election. He thanked his team for making 2008 a successful year in which MoUs were signed with Islamabad Chamber, TDAP and PGJDC. He also commented that the new team will carry on the projects that were  unfinished and initiate new projects..
President for 2009, Tariq Zaka thanked all members of PCC-USA for entrusting him with the honor of leading the organization. He expressed confidence in his team to continue the progress of PCC-USA in the light of its charter to improve bilateral trade between the USA and Pakistan, educate its members on new regulations and provide a platform for business development.
