Naqshbandiya Foundation for Islamic Education Celebrates the Prophet's Birthday

Chandler, AZ: The Naqshbandiya Foundation For Islamic Education (NFIE) will organize its annual Mawlid-un-Nabi (Birthday Celebration of the Prophet of Islam) Conference on March 14 at the Chandler Community Center, 125 E. Commonwealth Ave, Chandler, AZ 85225. Admission to the event is free, and it's open to the public.
The program will include devotional poetry and a lecture highlighting the life of Prophet Muhammad. The Theme of the Conference is "Celebrating Prophet of Universal Mercy, Love and Beauty". The keynote speaker is Shaykh Muhammad Bin Yahya al-Ninowy from Atlanta. Children from local Islamic schools will sing religioius songs accompanied with Daf (a large Persian drum).
