Imran Aziz Mian Performs in Sacramento

On Sunday, October 18, the Luther Burbank High School was the venue of Imran Aziz Mian’s memorable qawwali performance in Sacramento. The event was largely attended with both the Pakistani and Indian Americans turning up in large numbers to hear and applaud Imran.
The event was sponsored by the North American Muslim Corporation ( NAMC) and the Pakistan Association of Greater Sacramento. The show began with Choudry Bashir of the Pakistan Association giving a speech and presenting a bouquet and jewelry to the renowned Imran Aziz Mian. The stage secretary Kamran while local singer Poonam Sahotra also sang on the occasion.
Both the NAMC and the Pakistan Association expressed appreciation for the support extended by their members, namely, Anwar Rashid, Shahid Hussain, Rana Kamran, and Shahid Saleemi. From the Indian community Karnail Singh and Parminder Singh delivered a message of unity between Pakistani and Indian communities for arranging such events. Inderedad Lani from Los Angeles who also attended the event expressed similar sentiments.
