CG Babar Hashmi’s Appeal for Flood Victims

Mr. Baber Hashmi, Consul General of Pakistan, addressed a press conference on August 11th 2010 to impress upon the media the magnitude of the devastation caused by floods in various parts of Pakistan. In his briefing, Mr. Hashmi informed that the Federal and Provincial governments have launched full-fledged rescue and relief operations in the flood-affected areas. The Prime Minister of Pakistan has established a special fund titled “Prime Minister’s flood relief 2010.” The Consul General appealed to all members of the Pakistani community to come forward and help the flood victims as much as they can.
