Summit on Entrepreneurship and Small Business Growth
The White House is organizing a Summit on Entrepreneurship & Small Business Growth on Friday, January 7th at the Microsoft campus in Mountain View, CA. The Summit will be headlined by US Commerce Secretary Gary Locke and will feature Aneesh Chopra, Chief Technology Officer, Executive Office of the President, and Todd Park, Chief Technology Officer, Department of Health & Human Services. These leaders will lead a discussion on the opportunities and the role of Silicon Valley in driving innovation in areas such as data management, cleantech and healthcare IT. The Summit also features four break-out workshops on contracting, procurement, venture financing and global trade.

This Summit is a first of its kind event in Silicon Valley, and is a unique opportunity to meet with key officials and share feedback on how the Administration can better assist the entrepreneur and small business community.
