Soghat-e-Dakan Launched

Glimpses of the book-launching ceremony of Dr Noor Akhtar

Soghat-e-Dakan, a book written by Dr. Noorul Saeed Akhtar, was launched at a local hotel by the Urdu Writers Society of Los Angeles with the collaboration of Mr. Zia Khan, well-known poet and writer.

Mr. Irfan Murtaza, Mrs Sana Khan and Mr. Zia Khan introduced the writer and appreciated his many literary contributions.

Dr Akhtar has published thirty books.

Following the book-launching ceremony, a mushaira was held to the delight of the audience. Prominent poets including Mr. Irfan Murtaza, Mr. Tabish Khanzada, Mr. Zia Khan and Mr Zafar Abbas presented their kalam.
