Southern California Edison System Returns to Normal

 

Southern California Edison (SCE) has restored service to all customers known to be without power in the aftermath of hurricane-force winds that hit last week.

The SCE’s system has returned to normal. Crews will remain in the greater San Gabriel Valley area to do clean-up work. Customers with any issues are asked to call customer service at (800) 611-1911.

“I want to thank our customers for their patience during this unprecedented wind storm,” SCE President Ron Litzinger said. “I also want to thank the thousands of SCE employees and contract crew for their extraordinary efforts.”

Hurricane-force winds hit the region on Nov. 30, affecting service to 433,945 customers.

If you see a downed line or dangling wire — even if it appears not to be live — don’t touch or approach it and call 911 immediately.
