Dr Talat Khan Elected Delegate for California Democratic Party

On Feb. 21st, 2011, Dr Talat Khan was elected Delegate for The California Democratic party from the 63rd Assembly District. She was also elected to The Executive Board of Delegates from the same district.

Amin Khan, her husband and a Mechanical Engineer by profession, was appointed as a Delegate for The 63rd Assembly District of The California Democratic Party.

As Delegate, “We will be able to vote on crucial policies that are endorsed and enforced for the State of California from Sacramento. Also Delegates endorse Democratic candidates for California and National Democratic Party. Also votes on party leaders in Caucuses also. This is a voice for our people in the political system. In future we need to have more such voices, so we can be part of the decision making process,” said Dr Talat.
