Appeal to Save 11-Year-Old Yaseen
Rana Faiz of Hamrahi Urdu Radio has launched a donation campaign to help save the life of 11-year-old Mohammad Yaseen, from a village near Peshawar, who needs a liver transplant.
Rana Faiz told Pakistan Link that Yaseen’s liver transplant will be done at Al-Shifa International Hospital which is a leading hospital in Islamabad. The hospital has graciously agreed to accept the $33,000 cost of the operation in installments.
A sum of $3,600.00 was raised at a musical evening held Saturday night at the Chandni Restaurant by Syed Sarwat, owner of the restaurant. Rana Faiz has appealed to the community to donate generously for this humanitarian cause. She has collected $6,500.00 so far.
For sending donations, she may be contacted at 650-872-1088.
