Boston Businessman Raja Saeed Dies
Boston, Massachusetts: The Boston-Pakistani community mourns the passing of Raja Saeed, a businessman who operated a travel agency called Pak-Travel. Saeed passed away on January 21st after kidney failure.
Saeed lived in Boston since the 1970s operating his travel agency business in Brighton, Massachusetts (a neighborhood of the City of Boston). He was an active member of the community, supportive of causes and organizations that promoted community development as well as humanitarian efforts.
Saeed was born in Murree, Pakistan in the year 1941 to Sarfraz Khan and Wafa Jaan. He was educated in nursing. and migrated to the United States in 1973. Before starting his business in the travel industry Saeed worked as a registered nurse.
In 1995 Saeed underwent heart surgery that brought remarkable improvement to his health. He continued his normal routines of business and community involvement. He began suffering from kidney disease several years ago. He is survived by his wife Sanjeeda Saeed, daughters Fozia Saeed-Ali and Nazia Saeed.
