Eid Dinner Gala in Anaheim on August 24
An Eid Dinner Gala is being organized by a group of ladies, including Fatima Khan, Shaheen Awan, Dr. Yasmin Qasim, Faryal Khan and Samiya Khan to celebrate Eid with friends and family.
The event will be held on Friday, August 24th, at 7pm sharp at the Double Tree Hotel and Resort in Anaheim, next to Disneyland at 2085 South Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, CA . The dinner will be a unique one-of-a-kind event. Everyone is encouraged to dress in traditional Mughal attire - gharara, jhumar, teeka, Anarkali dresses for ladies and sherwani, chipkin for men.
An exquisite array of delectable Mughal dishes will be served buffet style. The entertainment will include a fun Desi Idol contest, Antakshri, comedy king competition and a cat walk to select the best dressed men and women.
There will also be a raffle draw with great prizes to take home. Guests will be entertained by local singers and music by a DJ. Babysitting arrangements will include kids entertainment and a special Eid treat.
Adult tickets are priced at $65 and will be sold on first-come-first-serve basis. VIP seats will be available for $100. Kids aged 2-10 will pay only $20.
