Ambassador Munter to Speak on Pakistan-US Ties
“Pakistan and America: Weathering the Crisis” will be the topic of Ambassador Cameron Munter’s speech on Feb. 6 when he addresses the World Affairs Council at the Mission Inn. He will talk about the perceptions of mistrust between the United States and Pakistan, and give some suggestions on how we can get through current difficulties in the relationship.
Ambassador Munter served in Islamabad for nearly two years - 2010 to July 2012.
On Feb. 6, a reception with buffet will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Music Room, with the talk beginning at 6:30 p.m. Reservations for the reception, buffet and talk are $35 for members and $45 for the public. Reservations for the talk only are $20 for members and $30 for the public. Students are invited free to the talk. To make reservations send checks to World Affairs Council, P.O.
