Fara Perwez’s Chelum
The chelum of Fara Perwez, a Pakistan Consulate General staffer, who passed away in Los Angeles on June 3, 2013 is being held on July 7, according to a message received from her father, Mr Perwez Akhtar. She was buried in Karachi where her body was taken by her maternal uncle, Mr Wasim Zaidi, a prominent community member.
Fara was an extremely conscientious staff member and impressed everyone with her diligence and devotion to duty.
May her soul rest in peace and God grant the bereaved family courage and fortitude to bear the loss. Amen.
