Lekovic Named to LA Mayor’s Service Cabinet
MPAC is proud to share the good news that Edina Lekovic, Director of Policy and Programming, has been appointed to Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Service Cabinet.
Charged with identifying, training and sustaining volunteers across Los Angeles, the newly formed Cabinet is made up of more than 25 diverse community leaders and nonprofit pioneers.
Lekovic was also invited to attend the Mayor’s Interfaith Prayer Breakfast last week, which included representatives of a wide range of faith traditions sharing their prayers and good wishes for the City of Los Angeles and Garcetti. During his address, the Mayor shared his commitment to serving his faith by serving the people of Los Angeles. He also shared his plan to create 10,000 jobs next summer for young people.
