The Muslim community of Thousand Oaks in Southern California is mourning the loss of one of its most respected members, Br. Tahir Siddiqui, who passed away on Tuesday. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon.
Br. Tahir Siddiqui was a very likeable and extremely helpful person. He was popularly known as Uncle Tahir in the community. He was the loving father of Br. Suhel Siddiqui and father-in-law of Sr. Asra Siddiqui.
May Allah rest his soul in eternal peace in Jannatul Firdous and give his family fortitude and courage to bear the loss. My heartfelt condolences and sincere prayers are with the entire family during this most difficult time in their life.
Funeral prayers and burial for Br. Tahir Siddiqui will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, the 20th of August, 2014 after the Dhuhr prayers at 1:00 PM at the Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606.
Khatam-al-Qur'an will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 between Salat-al-Asr and Maghrib at Br. Suhel Siddiqui's residence located at 2018 Hathawat Ave, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362.
