Eid Al-Adha to Be Celebrated on October 4
An announcement by the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California states: The Islamic Shura Council is pleased to announce that Eid Al-Adha will be celebrated on Saturday, October 4, 2014, following the day of Arafah, the most important day of the Hajj pilgrimage, on Friday, the 3rd of October, 2014.
It has been the Shura Council's tradition to observe Eid Al-Adha in solidarity with the millions of Muslims from across the world commemorating the life and legacy of Prophet Ibrahim and his family on the day of Arafah during Hajj.
