SCMCO Organizes Fourth Joint Masjid Table Tennis Tournament
On March 14 and 15, over
160 players from 30
mosques and institutions
from all over Southern California
participated in the “Fourth Joint Masjid Table Tennis Tournament 2015” held at the at Joseph Bae Table Tennis Club in Santa Ana. The tournament was the fifth mega event organized by SCMCO to bring the Muslim community together through social activities. The Tournament offered contest in the following categories: 1) Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles (Division A, B & C) 2) Women’s Singles, Women’s Doubles (All Ages) 3) Boys Under21 Singles, Boys Under21 Doubles 4) Boys Under14 Singles, Boys Under 14 Doubles 5) Girls Under21 6) Girls Under 14 7) Seniors Over 60” On March 14th all Women events, Boys under 21, Girls under 21, Girls under 14 and Over 60 were held. The tournament started at 9:30 am and the ping pong balls continued flying back and forth between players until the evening on Saturday. Gift cards were presented to the winners of under 21 Boys and Girls. Trophies and medals were presented to all other events. Men events were held on March 15th, Sunday.
