Aliya Janjua at the PACC

The white man was beaten in the elections of 2008, and the white man came back with a vengeance in 2016. The woman was defeated in the 2016 elections. Is the woman determined to come back strong in 2020, or 2024? Well, may be.
To a casual eye it seems women all over the USA are asserting themselves—they seem to be on a mission. But all that has nothing do with Aliya Janjua, a podcaster, who interviews successful Asian women and tells their stories to the subscribers of her podcast “Confessions of Successful Asian Women.”
On Saturday, December 3, Aliya Janjua gave a talk at the Pakistani American Culture Center in Milpitas and described the four qualities the successful women she interviewed shared with each other.
Each one of the women Janjua interviewed had a vision that she never let go of; each one of them was ready to take risks; each one of them knew her strengths; and every successful married woman she interviewed had chosen the right partner, a man who supported her in the pursuit of her dreams.
