MPAC Becomes Member of the Nation’s Premier Civil and Human Rights Coalition
An MPAC message reads: Founded in 1950, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights has coordinated national lobbying efforts for every major civil rights law since 1957. With a diverse membership of more than 200 national organizations, the Leadership Conference promotes and protects the civil and human rights of all persons in the United States. Our organizations are committed to a more open and just society -- an America as good as its ideals.
We look forward to working with other member organizations including Muslim Advocates as they co-chair the Hate Crimes Taskforce.
As a member of the Leadership Conference, we will lean on, and learn from, each other’s experience and expertise as we further our mission of improving policies impacting American Muslims.
