SCMCO Organizes Second Joint Masjid Soccer Tournament
Thirty-two teams from all over Southern California participated in the Second Joint Masjid Soccer Tournament organized by the Southern California Muslims Community Organization (SCMCO)on December 23rd at the Whittier Narrows Soccer Fields in South El Monte.
The participants numbered well over 400. There were young and old contestants and they belonged to all age groups. But they shared one outstanding quality – zest and enthusiasm for soccer and eagerness to give off their best.
All the teams were equally competitive and gave a sterling performance. The winning teams impressed all and sundry with their spark and dash. They vividly displayed their promise and are sure to give a good account of themselves in the future.
SCMCO Chairperson Dawar Naqvi congratulated the winners of the Second Joint Masjid Soccer Tournament 2017. He also thanked Allah for making the event so successful.
