Cricket Match in Honor of Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry
A cricket match was organized in honor of Mr Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, the Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States earlier this month, at the Central Park, Santa Clarita, California. This match was played between the Pakistan 11, a team comprising of members of the Pakistan Consulate, Los Angeles and the Kashmir 11. This exhibition match also commemorated the Kashmir Day.
Addressing a sizable gathering of Pakistani Americans at this occasion, Ambassador Chaudhry lauded the efforts of the organizers and encouraged them to organize more events like this. Mr. Abdul Jabbar Memon, the Consul General of Pakistan, Los Angeles was also present on the occasion.
After a tough competition from the other side, Pakistan 11 won this friendly match.
