Dr Anver Emon hosted Anwar Ibrahim, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia,at University of Toronto's Institute of Islamic Studies for a discussion on Islam, democracy, and Southeast Asia.
Anver Emon was also pleased to share his recently published "Oxford Handbook of Islamic Law” with the distinguished guest. #instituteofislamicstudies; #uoft;
Anver is serving as Director of University of Toronto's "Instituteof Islamic Studies”. He also has a joint appointment with U of T’sFaculty of Law as a Law Professor.
