AMWEC Attends Luncheon at FBI Headquarters
The American Muslim Multifaith Women’s Empowerment Council attended a luncheon at the FBI headquarters, according to an email message. It adds:
Dinah Frieden, a Jewish board member of AMWEC, represented the interfaith women’s community.
Western Region ADIC Paul McCourt welcomed former FBI agents and Citizens Academy to the State of the FBI annual luncheon on February 7 at The Proud Bird in Los Angeles.
ADIC McCourt spoke of the difficulties and successes of the department this past year. He assured the audience that despite the government shutdown, the FBI’s dedicated agents were valiantly working on international terrorism, counter intelligence, and cybersecurity.
