Shura September Leadership Meeting
On Saturday, September 28th, Shura Council held its fourth leadership meeting of 2019 at the Islamic Society of Corona-Norco (ISCN). A diverse group of more than 75 leaders representing 35 member organizations was present at the quarterly event to discuss several topics impacting the So Cal community.
The meeting began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and a welcome address by the ISCN leadership. After the roll call and confirmation of quorum, Shura chairman, Dr Ahmed Soboh, addressed the gathering. Shura's newest project, Shura TV, was presented to the general body. It generated immense interest and support.
The meeting also included presentations on the first-ever women's leadership study andCALeos security grant.
