Huntington, NY: Congressman Tom Suozzi (D – Long Island, Queens) has issued a statement ahead of the upcoming Pakistan Independence Day on August 14, 2020:
“Happy Pakistan Independence Day! Today, let us celebrate the contributions which the Pakistani-American community has made throughout the United States. I have had the privilege of seeing these first-hand throughout my years in public service.
Though this year will be different due to the pandemic, I extend my best wishes to all who are celebrating on Long Island, in New York, and across the world. Pakistan Zindabad!”
