WTAS: "More Policy" on One Night Than the ENTIRE DNC
By Steve Guest

On August 24, the Republican National Convention shared the promise America holds under President Trump and the positive reviews were quick to roll in.
For years, Joe Biden and Democrats have failed to deliver. Yet in four years, President Trump has kept his promises to the forgotten men and women, from his response to the coronavirus to his diplomatic victories on the world stage to delivering an economy that works for all Americans.
Here are some of the highlights:
Small business owner Tanya Weinreis: With a PPP loan, "not only were we able to have kept every single employee, but we've been hiring weekly ever since...exciting to be part of the Great American Comeback story.”
Doctor and COVID-19 survivor: President Trump “cleared away the red tape” and “truly moved mountains to save lives.”
Democrat GA legislator Vernon Jones: President Trump “delivered historic funding to HBCUs” and "supported school choice to ensure that no child, no matter their race or zip code, is left behind.” And he said, President Trump “built the most inclusive economy ever.”
GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel: “Four years ago, President Trump started a movement unlike any other, and over the next four days we will hear from a few of the millions of hardworking, everyday Americans who have benefited from his leadership.”
School safety advocate Andrew Pollack: President Trump “took action” to make schools safer.
Maximo Alvarez, whose family fled Communist Cuba: “I choose President Trump because I choose America, I choose freedom”
Donald Trump Jr.: President Trump’s “policies have been like rocket fuel to the economy and especially to the middle class.”
Sen. Tim Scott: “Over the past 4 years, we have made tremendous progress.”
“Look back at what they’ve done”: Sen. Tim Scott details how President Trump has delivered while Joe Biden has failed for 47 years.
The Republican National Convention shared with the American people how under President Trump’s leadership and through the hard work of the American people, he continues to make America great for all Americans.
Maine Lobsterman Jason Joyce shared how “as long as Trump is president, fishing families like mine will have a voice.” He is changing his vote to support President Trump and Vice President Pence this November.
Wisconsin dairy farmer Cris Peterson reminded America how President Trump took action to save American agriculture in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
And the contrast between the RNC and the DNC was evident:
Lifelong Democrat Robert Vlaisavljevich, Mayor of Eveleth, Minnesota shared that the “radical environmental movement has dragged the Democratic Party so far to the Left they can no longer claim to advocate for the working man.”
Navajo Nation VP Myron Lizer highlighted how President Trump delivered the largest financial funding package to Indian country.
Tiffany Trump reminded the American people that this election “is a fight for freedom vs. oppression, for opportunity vs. stagnation.”
CNN’s Chris Cillizza, Kaitlan Collins, and Politico’s Tim Alberta all heralded police officer Ryan Holets’ powerful story of adoption.
Eric Trump reminded America why President Trump ran, “My father ran, not because he needed the job, but because he knew hardworking people across this great country were being left behind.”
Kentucky AG Daniel Cameron confronted Joe Biden directly and said, “Mr Vice President, look at me, I am black. We are not all the same, sir. I am not in chains. My mind is my own. And you can't tell me how to vote because of the color of my skin.”
Secretary Mike Pompeo reminded the American people that President Trump has stood up to China.
And during a naturalization ceremony, President Trump said, “America rejoices as we welcome 5 absolutely incredible new members into our great American family. You are now fellow citizens of the greatest nation on the face of God's Earth.”
And to close out the night, First Lady Melania Trump spoke directly to those affected by the coronavirus saying, to those affected by COVID-19: “You are not alone, my husband's administration will not stop fighting... Donald will not rest until he has done all he can to take care of everyone impacted by this terrible pandemic.”
And the accolades rolled in: Fox News’ Dana Perino praised the First Lady’s speech, so too did CNN’s Jake Tapper, and Wolf Blitzer who called the First Lady’s speech “important,” “very moving.” Even former Obama Advisor David Axelrod admitted the Republican National Convention is “doing pretty well to be honest with you.”
And from the production side to the impact of the message the speakers delivered, there were rave reviews:
