Sister Aziza Rokerya Passes away
The Muslim community of San Gabriel Valley in Southern California is mourning the sad demise of a respected community member, Sister Aziza Rokerya, who passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020.Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon
May Allah rest her soul in eternal peace in Jannah and grant her family fortitude and courage to bear the monumental loss. My heartfelt condolences and sincere prayers are with her entire family during this most difficult time in their life.
Sister Aziza Rokerya was the loving wife of Br Abubakar Rokerya whose dedicated services as the longest serving Treasurer of the Islamic Center of San Gabriel Valley have played an important role in the rapid growth of ICSGV through his excellent skills in cash management and fiscal control. Sister Aziza Rokerya was also the loving and caring mother of Anjum Rokerya, Arshad Rokerya and Miriam Mansoori.
Funeral prayers for Sister Aziza Rokerya were held at the Islamic Society of Corona-Norco (Corona Masjid) and she was laid to rest in the Corona Cemetery.
