SCMCO Organizes Ninth Joint Masjid Table Tennis Tournament 2020
On February 22-23 over 100 players from 24 Islamic Centers and institutions from all over Southern California participated in the Ninth Joint Masjid Table Tennis Tournament 2020 held at the at Arena Badminton & Sports Club.
The tournament marked another mega event organized by SCMCO to bring the Muslim community together through social activities.
The Rules and Regulation Committee members were Amjad Naqvi, Samir Zayyad, Adnan and Arif Hyder. Amjad Naqvi explained the rules of engagement. ArifHyder was the Event spokesman.
President of Chino Valley Islamic Center Arif Hyder opened the proceedings with a warm welcome to the players and audience.
Lunch was served to all volunteers and players.
ZhurSalat was led by former Shura Council Chairman Dr Ahmed Soboh. In his speech on the occasion he said it was gratifying to see all masajid together. He praised the organizers for arranging such a unifying event. He also expressed his gratitude to several individuals for their wholehearted support.
The event concluded with SCMCO President Dawar Naqvi thanking everyone for their contribution and support. He thanked all volunteers and members of his organizational team who worked diligently to bring the community together.
He expressed gratitude to Allah SWT for the success of the event. SCMCO congratulates the Table Tennis Tournament Winners.
