BIG Donation of 15,000 Books Reaches Karachi’s NED University
Books for International Goodwill (BIG), a nonprofit entity based in Annapolis, Maryland, shipped a container full of books from the US to the NED University of Engineering in Karachi, Pakistan, in February 2021.
The container reached the NED University on April 2, 2021.
Earlier, during a six-month drive, BIG collected 15,000 books for the library of the NED University. The BIG effort was coordinated by Professor Dr Sala Qazi and Professor Dr Ahmed S. Khan.
The coordinators wish to thank all who supported this effort and donated books.
Books for International Goodwill (BIG) has distributed over 9 million books since 1989 across the globe to promote literacy and knowledge.
The laudable Goodwill project will benefit students and faculty of NEDUET and neighboring colleges and universities as well as the public at large.
