Climate Change Awareness Campaign by SADEQUAIN Foundation USA
San Diego, CA: SADEQUAIN Foundation USA has announced its Climate Change Awareness Campaign (CCAC) to be launched across the metropolitan city of Karachi.
Under the stewardship of artist Tariq Khan and his team the CCAC will paint murals across Karachi depicting melting glaciers, vanishing trees, and calamities brought about by the mismanagement of water resources.
These days, climate change is the greatest challenge facing the survival of the human race on planet earth. It is a combined responsibility of the human race to play its role in reducing the impending calamity.
In step one, we have to acknowledge the facts about climate change. For example:
1. Rising temperatures have resulted in extreme weather events.
2. Chunks of ice in the Arctic have broken apart and floated away raising the water levels.
3. Wildfire seasons are more often and last longer.
4. Coral reefs have lost their colors.
As a second step, we have to take necessary actions to avoid it. It is not inevitable. It's not too late to slow the pace of climate change as long as we act today.
SADEQUAIN Foundation USA is hopeful that the concerned authorities will take necessary measures to counter the menace of climate change endangering the existence of our planet.
