Saba Trust and CDRS Team up to Support Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal for Beneficiaries of Panahgah
Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM), Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar, inked a Memorandum of Understanding with Director Operations Anns Ali of Saba Trust and Chairman CDRS at a ceremony held at the Panah Gah of Tarlai in Islamabad.
Under the MoU, both the organizations would provide 50 kg mutton and 50 kg rice to shelter home every week with a pledge to increase the quantity in future on a fortnightly basis to facilitate the beneficiaries of Panah Gah in Tarlai Islamabad.
Saba Trust will provide 50 kg mutton while CDRS will provide 50 kg rice every week.
Ali Muhammad Khan, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, witnessed the signing ceremony. Commending the services of both the organizations, he termed the signing of the MoU an important support to the poor people of Pakistan. Minister Khan also admired the leadership qualities of Mr Anns of Saba Trust and Mr Todd Shea of CDRS and applauded their project as a glimmer of hope for the deprived community of the country.
Addressing the ceremony, Managing Director PBM expressed his gratitude to both the organizations while appreciating their welfare services for the impoverished and neglected segment of society. He admired their compassionate humanitarian aid and emphasized the need to strengthen the cooperative bond in future to accomplish greater social welfare goals in the country.
Todd Shea and Anns Ali appreciated the initiative and regarded this project as a cornerstone of relief and a promising solution to poverty.
