Muslim Organizations Denounce Colleyville Synagogue Attack
The Islamic Shura Council of Southern California, the Shia Muslim Council as well as national and local Muslim organizations strongly denounce the attack on Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas, according to an email message. It adds:.
This transgression in a sacred space against innocent worshippers in ritual service is a deplorable travesty. We stand in solidarity with the Jewish community and offer our unwavering support in healing from the incident. The congregants escaping unharmed after the standoff is reassuring and reminds us of the fragility and fleeting nature of life.
