Executive Produced by Spike Lee, Riz Ahmed, and Alma Har'el, the film tells the harrowing story of a young woman named Hasna Aït Boulahcen, who was wrongly reported to be Europe’s first suicide bomber. We follow Hasna’s life and the trauma of betrayal from family, friends, and country that resulted in her radicalization. You Resemble Me shines a light on how extreme misfortune and the pursuit of belonging led one woman to follow a false faith that resulted in tragedy. You can see the trailer and read the review in Variety . The film opened nationwide on November 4th and you can see it in Los Angeles at the Laemmle in North Hollywood starting November 11th.
