Sr. Amina Ahmed Passes away

It is with great sorrow that we announce that  Sr Amina Ahmed, matriarch of one of SBIA's founding families, passed away in Sunnyvale, California. 

Sr. Amina was the mother of  Sr. Sabiha Siddiqee and father-in-law of  Dr Waheed Siddiqee, with whom she lived.  She was also the grandmother of  Amer Siddiqee and SBIA Board Chairman  Athar Siddiqee.

Sr. Amina leaves behind two sons,  Layeeq and  Taufiq, granddaughter  Yasmeen, two daughters-in-law, and eight great grandchildren.

She was buried in the Five Pillars Cemetery,  Livermore.

We pray to Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) to forgive the deceased and shower His mercy on her. We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends and pray that Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) grants them strength and patience during this difficult time - Ameen.
