APPNA Members Urged to Contribute to Quake Relief Dear APPNA Family,   The devastating earthquake that hit Turkiye and Syria one week ago, has so far claimed more than 25,000 lives, has caused thousands of injuries and made tens of thousands homeless in the cold freezing temperatures. It is indeed among one of the most destructive and damaging earthquakes of this century. The photographs and videos coming out of the affected areas are heart wrenching.   The government of Turkiye has appealed for global relief efforts. Their immediate needs are blankets, tents, sleeping bags, medications, and winter clothing. Turkiye is indeed one of the very few all-weather friends of Pakistan and Pakistani people. Those of us that have visited Turkiye know very well that its people consider Pakistanis as their brothers. Now in their hour of anguish, we all need to step up to show that we truly are one people and that their pain is our pain. APPNA SWDRC has launched two emergency relief funds to help the victims of earthquake in Turkiye and Syria. These funds will be used to help the victims of the earthquake through the Turkish Red Crescent Society and Syrian American Medical Society.
