‘Together We Can Do Anything’: Pakistan’s Shahzaib Rindh Waves Indian Flag after Win against India, Calls for Peace between Nations

New Delhi: In a rare encounter, Pakistan’s Shahzaib Rindh had a face-off with India’s Rana Singh in a Karate Combat event on Saturday. The fierce competition culminated in a 2-1 victory for the Pakistani athlete after an intense battle that stretched into the third round, following initial wins by Pakistan’s Rizwan Ali and India’s Himanshu Kaushik in the preceding matches.

After winning the Karate Combat League, Shahzaib Rindh held flags of both  Pakistan and India .

Shahzaib’s gesture of solidarity caught the attention of spectators and social media users alike, prompting the match presenter to inquire about its significance. Shahzaib expressed his belief in peace and emphasized the unity between the two nations. “This fight was for peace. We are not enemies, we are together. Together we can do anything. This fight is for Pakistan and India’s friendship and being closer,” he explained.

Shahzaib also expressed gratitude towards  Bollywood actor Salman Khan , who was present at the event. “And, I want to thank  Salman Khan  for coming here. He’s my superstar. I’ve been watching your movies since childhood. It’s been a pleasure to fight in front of you. Thank you,” he conveyed.

Following the match, Shahzaib had the opportunity to interact with Salman Khan, who praised the athlete for his remarkable performance. Shahzaib’s display of sportsmanship and his message of unity resonated strongly among fans on both sides of the border, transcending the boundaries of rivalry and fostering a spirit of camaraderie.
