Friends of Pakistan Leadership Holds High-Level Virtual Meeting with Pakistan’s Diplomats in the US

 

Washington, DC: A high-level Zoom meeting was convened between the leadership of Friends of Pakistan (FOP) and senior diplomatic officials of Pakistan in the United States to discuss matters of mutual interest.

The meeting featured FOP Chairman Arif Zaffar Mansuri and FOP President Jamal Khawaja, along with the distinguished participation of His Excellency Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States. Also in attendance were: Honorable Asim Ali Khan, Consul General of Pakistan, Los Angeles; Honorable Muhammad Aftab Chaudhry, Consul General of Pakistan, Houston; Honorable Tariq Karim, Consul General of Pakistan, Chicago; Honorable Aamer Ahmed Atozai, Consul General of Pakistan, New York.

During the meeting, the participants engaged in productive discussions on issues of shared concern, strengthening ties between the Pakistani diaspora and diplomatic missions, and enhancing community engagement efforts.

The Friends of Pakistan leadership reaffirmed their commitment to fostering closer collaboration between the Pakistani American community and diplomatic representatives to further Pakistan’s interests and strengthen the voice of the diaspora in the United States.

The meeting concluded on a positive and constructive note, with all parties expressing their resolve to work together towards greater cooperation in areas of mutual significance
