PAGB Elections 2026-2028 Causes Major Upset

Boston, MA: A team of young professionals created a major upset in the 2026-2028 elections of the Pakistan Association of Greater Boston. Two established members of the American-Pakistan community, running for President and Vice President positions, cruising along comfortably unopposed, were tipped for easy victory.
That was the drift until a week before Election Day, April 25 th.
A team of young professionals entered the election process late, but like a thunderbolt, swept away the elections, causing a "mini earthquake" in the growing community. Sultan Khan, a 28-year-old Harvard graduate and Saba Awan, a young risk management professional with a background with Homeland Security, nominated by former Presidents Siraj Khan and Shehla Gull respectively, together with the other elected directors, became the youngest leaders in PAGB history. This took the entire community by surprise, but accurately reflected the shifting sentiments, in the dynamics of an organization which has a 35-year history and a territory covering five US states of New England.
