Pakistan registers two quakes within a span of seven hours
KARACHI: Seismological Network of Pakistan Meteorological Department on Saturday recorded an earthquake at a location near Mansehra, at 2:22am and another at Kashmir - Xianjiang border region at 9:24am.
According to the Earthquake Reports released by the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the earthquake that originated on Saturday morning on the Pak-China border was of 4.7 magnitude on the Richter scale, with a depth of 113 kilometres.
Earlier, a 2.8 magnitude earthquake recorded at midnight had its tremors felt at Mansehra and surrounding areas. It had a depth of 10 kilometres with 34.35 latitude at North and 73.37 longitude at East. app
