HEC devolution: hearing at SC from April 11
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan will begin hearing of constitutional petitions against the devolution of Higher Education Commission (HEC) from April 11, Geo News reported Saturday.Three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry will hear the case.
Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman and Prof. G. Miana have filed the petitions against dissolution of HEC.
The petitions seek revocation of notification dissolving HEC and request that HEC be allowed to function in its previous position.
