PPP accepts invitation to attend MQM moot
LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has accepted the invitation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to attend latter’s public meeting in Lahore, Geo News reported.MQM delegation led by Dr. Farooq Sattar hold meeting with PPP Secretary General Jahangir Badar at his residence and invited him to take part in public meeting scheduled on Sunday (tomorrow) in Lahore. The invitation was accepted by PPP leader.
Later, talking to media, Farooq Sattar stated that MQM Chief Altaf Hussain would not disappoint people of Punjab. Response of people in Punjab for MQM moot is surprising, adding that it is good omen for politics in the country.
