No politics in ZAB case reopening: Babar
LAHORE: Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affair Dr Babar Awan on Saturday said that there was no connection of the reopening of ZAB case reference with politics, adding the PPP wanted to wash the stigma on the judiciary.
Addressing a press conference here at the residence of Maqbool Elahi Malik, former Advocate General Punjab, Babar said People's Party(PPP) chose legal way instead of taking revenge of the murder of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto by presenting his case for review in the constitutional court.
He said the PPP always contacted people's court, but this time it had presented its case in the judiciary, adding the PPP would eliminate every hurdle in the way of justice.
He said it had been proved by the history that murder of Shaheed ZA Bhutto was a judicial murder and a conspiracy.
