DG ISI leaves for Washington


ISLAMABAD: Director General Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt. Gen. Ahmed Shuja Pasha has left for Washington visit on Monday, Geo News reported.

Sources told Geo News that the purpose of Pasha’s visit is to eliminate misunderstandings between ISI and CIA, which surfaced between two top-level intelligence agencies on the issue of Raymond Davis.

According to sources General Pasha would also raise the issue of drone attacks on tribal areas of Pakistan.

It may be mentioned here that DG ISI was invited by his US counterpart Leonne Panetta on Washington visit.

The duo is in constant touch for the restoration of the confidence, the sources added.
