Qaim directs to expedite census process
KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, voicing grave concerns over the progress in the process of population census, has directed the authorities concerned to expedite the process, Geo News reported Saturday.The CM Sindh issued these directives while talking to newsmen outside the provincial election commission office after the joint candidate of PPP and coalition parties, Asim Hussain, was elected Senator unopposed.
Qaim Ali Shah told media that unopposed election of Dr. Asim Hussain as Senator speaks volume for the unity in coalition government.
To a question, he expressed concerns over completion of population counting process on time.
