Gilani arrives Kabul
KABUL: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani arrived here Saturday on a day-long visit to express solidarity with the Afghan nation and support it in whatever decision it takes for its future.Afghan education minister warmly welcomed the prime minister and his delegation at Kabul airport.
Defence Minister Ahmad Mukhtar, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar, Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani, Director General Inter Services Intelligence Lt. Gen Shuja Pasha and Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir accompanying the prime minister.
Gilani would discuss with Afghan President Hamid Karzai bilateral relations and regional situation particularly in the wake of the gradual withdrawal of U.S troops from the strife torn country.
