Qazi, Aqil condemn Geo Super ban
PESHAWAR: Former Jamat-e-Islami chief Qazi Hussain Ahmed and Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Minister for Sports Aqil Shah condemning the closure of Geo Super, gave their individual licenses for resuming the channel’s transmission from Pakistan, Geo News reported Sunday.The former JI chief Qazi Hussain said closure of channels is tantamount to suppressing the freedom of speech in the democratic country.
KP Minister for Sports Syed Aqil Shah said the ban has deprived millions of viewers of watching the sports.
