Two of 8 strangled to death: autopsy
ATTOCK: Post mortem of two out of eight dead bodies recovered from a dry well has revealed that both were strangled to death, Geo News reported Sunday.However, dead bodies have not been identified as yet, Geo News reported hospital and police sources as saying.
According to details, four days old corpses were recovered from a dry well in China Chowk area of Attock on early Sunday.
Subsequently, DPO Attock told media that the bodies were four days old and they might have been killed on personal enmity.
Later, bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for postmortem.
Autopsy process of the remaining six bodies is still underway, said Medico Legal Officer Dr. Khalid Mehmood, adding that two among the rests were strangled to death.
DPO Attock Akhtar Abbas told Geo News that identification of all eight bodies is not clear yet.
He said no report of missing persons is yet registered in any police station of the area.
