Pakistan, Iran Interior Ministers meet
ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister A. Rehman Malik Wednesday met with his Iranian counterpart Mustafa Muhammad Nijar and discussed the matters of mutual interests.
Rehman Malik is currently undertaking an official visit to Tehran.
They also reviewed the situation at Pak-Afghan border and vowed to further strengthen the relations between the two countries.
Iranian Interior Minister Mustafa Muhammad Nijar said that Iran attaches great importance to its relations with Pakistan and it will be further strengthened in the upcoming days.
Rehman Malik was given warm welcome earlier by Iranian authorities on his arrival at Tehran airport.
Minister for Interior will also meet Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi during this visit.
