Qaim speaks against division of Sindh

KARACHI: Reacting over Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif’s statement in which he demanded that Karachi be made a province, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah has said that there is no need to divide Sindh province any further, Geo News reported Sunday.

Talking to media men at Imtaz Sheikh resident, he condemned the statement of Shahbaz Sharif, elaborating that there is a big difference in Sindh and Punjab.

He said Punjab is thrice as big as Sindh, which is divisible into two or three more provinces and there is also an explicit demand of formation of provinces there.

“PPP is a symbol of federation not a provincial party,” he added.
